I’m wondering, in the context of the internet generations being new versions of humans unlike any before seen, whether the current generation of kids is the dumbest ever. I mean I would not have expected the internet to generate so much stupid, but who knows?

      Education is extremely important.

Consider public school...How much have we dumbed down curricula and inflated grades, in order to graduate a higher percentage of students?

Kids are smarter today, than in 1960?

May we assume the people who made these dumb kids are responsible.

It's a theory, and not a bad one.

Maybe there's too much noise and not enough signal. Kids are able to get so much information, but none of it is filtered through our culture.

If you learned or heard something multiple times pre-internet, chances were that it was pretty important.

Now all the important stuff seems to be mixed in with the inane.

                From the article:

Last week, a new Economist/YouGov poll found one in five young Americans stated that the Holocaust is a&#8230

OK, but can they use technology to communicate effectively?

                I was only joking

                  Yes, let’s find out.

Survey the dumb kid’s parents and grandparents to see what, if at all any, views they might have on the subject.

                  Elbows up!
