I would not have guessed teachers would be in the top three. If they are good savers, they also (alot of times) get a good pension also.

But the article is correct that slow and steady wins. I think it was either your or @Jon who mentioned the Bogglehead investment strategy. Not going to make 20% year after year, but will not lose 20% year after year either.

As a retired teacher I have to say my pension is good. But while teaching I earned just enough to pay the mortgage and my children's studies.
No way you could label me a millionaire.
