Oh deer

I'm sitting in the sunroom looking out over the walking trail between my house and the neighbor, when I saw a face poking out from behind a big oak tree checking me out. She walked up the trail after a bit.
Then just now I saw a hobbled one that I'd seen the other day, her left leg still being held up. Breaks my heart.

Poor lil' guy.
(Or gal as the case may be.)We've a fox family just behind us. Fun to see around dawn and dusk, not at all fun to hear at night.
