R.I.P. Col. Frank Borman. You were truly made of the Right Stuff. Without your mission, Apollo 11 probably would not have happened when it did. Your command showed and proved the path.
I’ll never forget the moment when they got the “Go for TLI”.
That was a close second to the small step for a man.
They were the first to head out away from earth orbit.
RIP Astronaut Borman.
