      I wonder how much Amazon’s distribution center buildout has cut into air freight? If they pre-position stock in every
      metropolitan area not a lot of flying needs to be done.

        My bet is ETFs, Venmo, and Docusign have had a far bigger effect. 5 years ago, I was using FedEx almost every day. Paperwork to finance companies, check and cash deposits to the office, school bid documents, and we were regularly sending cash to one of Karla’s younger siblings or my niece.

        I was also receiving 4-5 Fed Ex packages per week.

        It’s been well over a year since I’ve sent something via Fed Ex. I still receive items from time to time but that’s down to 1 per week or so…

          We live on the rural route, so we get a decent number of packages. Most comes by USPS and some by UPS. Occasionally, FedEx Ground.
