    https://honestreporting.com/photographers-without-borders-ap-reuters-pictures-of-hamas-atrocities-raise-ethical-questions/

On October 7, Hamas terrorists were not the only ones who documented the war crimes they had committed during their deadly rampage across southern Israel. Some of their atrocities were captured by Gaza-based photojournalists working for the Associated Press and Reuters news agencies whose early morning presence at the breached border area raises serious ethical questions.

What were they doing there so early on what would ordinarily have been a quiet Saturday morning? Was it coordinated with Hamas? Did the respectable wire services, which published their photos, approve of their presence inside enemy territory, together with the terrorist infiltrators? Did the photojournalists who freelance for other media, like CNN and The New York Times, notify these outlets? Judging from the pictures of lynching, kidnapping and storming of an Israeli kibbutz, it seems like the border has been breached not only physically, but also journalistically.

Interesting. I didn't a couple of hours ago.

DuckDuckGo gives an error as well.

Doing a DuckDuckGo search for "reporters embeded hamas" yields a story:

It’s complicated. They hire freelancers from the region. That seems like the safe thing to do. It’s not like Arthur Schulzberger was sitting on this news for three days.

The obvious question is whether the reporters knew "something big" was coming. If so, you have to wonder.

These are local Gazans that are free lance photographers. Is AP supposed to make them spies? How do you think that will work out?

OK, so the photographers all knew it was going down, but US and Israeli intelligence were oblivious?

Proving anything beyond “we were told to bring cameras and be at ______ the night before.” Would be a hard pull.

But, being an “independent” journalist at a location where this shit was going down and not trying to even protest let alone interfere? That’s inhuman.

                            These guys were freelance.

                            If that makes a difference.

I think some of the embeds with the US Troops back in the day were free lance as well. Don’t see a difference.
