I understand having internet blockers for kids, but I think it is weird that Rep. Johnson has his son monitor the fathers internet usage. I can't imagine my mom asking me to monitor her internet usage. (Actually, that case, it would be easy as I don't think my mom has ever been on the internet).

Would you be okay having your son monitor all the internet sites you go to? Maybe it is just me. :shrug

I’m a bad enough influence on him as it is.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I kind of feel that finding this wrong says a little more about you than him.

Porn is horrible. The rampant trafficking of young women, the depression and psychological issues that lead to massive suicide and drug abuse problems, and even just the degradation and misogyny involved with it? It’s degrading to women and it’s degrading to men. The fact that he’s trying to protect his kid in what fashion he can is laudable.

Now I’m sure somebody is going to show an example of hypocrisy where an evangelical proclaimed one thing about porn but lived another. That doesn’t make the effort and attempt any less laudable. All have fallen short of the glory of God. That doesn’t mean you don’t try.
