@Axtremus said in Elon didn't warn them.:
Is there a complaint being expressed by Border Patrol?
Not that I'm aware of.
NBC, since they're reporting it, see it as newsworthy.

Considering that NBC saw fit to comment on this, I only assume there was some outrage on their part.
Of course, I may be wrong, and they're just reporting it as "news" that Musk's visit came without prior notice to CBP.
But I doubt it.
Why do you think NBC thought it was important to inquire about emails to CBP and then report it?

Here's the story in the "Tech News" section on NBC news:
Nothing like reporting hard tech news, NBC.
Musk has become increasingly outspoken about U.S. political issues, and has repeatedly discussed immigration online. He has also become an outsize figure in Texas, where his companies have made major investments and purchased large swaths of land.
The incident caused some controversy at the time, with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., referring to it as a “joyride” in a post on X.
No doubt, AOC wept.
