Look on the bright side , it was even worse for the spider

Once when working the backyard my spouse had small fly enter her ear canal. Was driving her crazy, buzzing and crawling around. I poured thimble full of hydrogen peroxide into her ear. Within seconds there was a return to normalcy and in 5 minutes she was back to her gardening.
