Sounds vaguely like
homeopathybullshit to me.Until you try some. Hubby and I both like it, but we agree it takes too long to make for our everyday morning coffee.
BTW, a few years ago I posted about this, and you said you were going to try it.
I remember! The egg shell thing, yeah, totally works! But the whole egg?
Ayup, that's how it's done.

England. There's a reason we all drink tea.
You drink the garbage tea china didn't want and the only way they could get it to you was to turn it black with fermentation otherwise the garbage tea would spoil into something yet worse than garbage. So enjoy your milked & sugared garbage.

An American complains about the British use of sugar. Yes, it happened here.
You people have to buy it in bottles. You're so fucking lazy you can't even brew it yourself. I'm surprised you don't have somebody fucking drink it for you.

Eggs to make coffee. OK. I would try it, but I"m too lazy to actually make it.
I think it was Aqua that recommended a splash of cold water into the grounds in the french press, before pouring in the boiling water. Gets rid of the bitterness. It does work. Either that, or let the water cool from the boiling point before pouring into the grounds.

One time I arrived at the church with a cup of coffee from Caribou in hand. The pastor’s wife asked “Brad, you like coffee, right?” I replied “Sure do.” She asked “Why don’t you ever drink the coffee we make?” “Because I want to keep liking coffee.”

Or, add a pinch of salt to the grounds before brewing.

That's interesting.
And, almost easy enough in terms of cooking ability that even I could do it.
I'll try it. If nothing else, it gives me something to enthrall people with at our next cocktail party. -

There is no excuse for shitty coffee anymore and those that serve it aren’t serving coffee. These days it is a great way to get rid of people, when you encounter it keep that in mind.
Interesting point and good tip!
