... we need a policy change that would enable overseas manufacturers to sell products in the U.S. that already have received marketing approval from certain foreign governments with standards comparable to those of the U.S. FDA, and vice versa.
I am sure that there is something I am overlooking (like maybe the number of participants and variety of participants in US drug trail), but it does seem to make sense. I would think that there are other countries who have as strict of guidelines for approving a new drug as the US.
