Where’s that small violin I had?
They should be thankful it’s just arms shipments that the Israelis are blowing up.

Does anyone listen to Abbas?

Hamas doesn’t but it’s good to hear him say it all the same.

Right, and yes.
I saw a report earlier that 60-80% of Gazans support Hamas, so you have to wonder about his relevance.

I don’t think Hamas will be all that relevant in short order. That leaves them only with Abbas.

Eyal Waldman, Israeli high-tech tycoon, founder and CEO of Mellanox Technologies, stunned the tech industry and the whole Arab world by creating R&D centers five years ago, first in the West Bank and then two years ago in the Gaza sector, hiring hundreds of Palestinian developers.
He said then: "Today we have 25 employees in Gaza. There are talented and smart people out there, economically it pays off. We have good staff, within one hour zone, with high motivation, availability and opportunities. And I think it's very important for the two nations to come together. People used to be afraid of each other and didn't talk. But the positive thing is created when people begin to work together and see how tensions decrease and cooperation work. This is good for all sides."
And on October 7, 2023, Hamas killed his daughter Danielle. It happened near Kibbutz Reim, less than a mile from where her father opened the most innovative factory in Gaza. -

Wonder if he'll continue to do business in Gaza?

He will, once it’s feasible. In the mean time he’ll continue in the West Bank. He was interviewed hours after hearing the news and said there’s no other way forward in the long run.

That is about the only route forward.

Me too. But there is something to be said for not punishing the uninvolved.

I dunno.
As widespread as this attack is, I'm not sure there are very many innocents left in Gaza.

Of course. But to say that is far, far from being able to implement that. The baby carriage meme says all you need to know about the situation there.
When the stated goal of a population is the eradication of another, believe them.

I was mostly referring to West Bank residents who, so far anyway, do not seem to be much involved.

I imagine the Tornados are hard to control once the satellites actually create them.

Don’t sell Jewish space laser technology short.
Seriously, though, 2km sounds like they’re worried about something other than rockets, since they go much further. Poison gas?
