I don't think that's an apt comparison. America is not an antisemitic nation by and large. This is the effect of immigrants not needing to assimilate and carrying homeland grudges. Still horrible, but not 1930's Germany.

Both sides were carrying flags. This particular incident looks like both sides were willing participants and looking for trouble. Still, i would not have objected to a few wood shampoos being applied.
