When multiple international aid organizations actively support and act as cover for Hamas, bad crap is bound to happen, even to legitimate aid organizations.

@Mik said in Hamas attacks Israel:
Nothing about bombing the Iranian consulate in Damascus?
I can’t see any need for comment. Iranian Revolutionary Guard was using the Consulate’s diplomatic cover as a planning and command centre for Hezbollah attacks on Israel and Israeli assets. Legitimate military target.

I listened to a description last night about the IDF's attack on the aid convoy last week. Hamas set the IDF up by intermingling Hamas assets with the convoy at times. Even went so far as to have a terrorist climb on top of a vehicle and shoot his weapon, to draw attention.
The IDF took the bait and Hamas reaped the publicity rewards.
One side in this conflict has rules, the other does not. The Resident is supporting the terrorists.

The description you listened to does not correspond to what the IDF itself has been saying about the aid convoy strike. It admits to a breakdown in internal communication that led to misidentification the incident. I therefore do not believe what you listened to is accurate.
I normally don’t put much weight on Sky News reporting but this clip goes into sufficient detail and explanation to convince me at least of misidentification:
Link to videoAs for current “Resident” supporting Hamas terrorists I also do not believe that to be the case. To facts would suggest quite the opposite.

He’s trying to be pro-Israel and anti-Bibi. It’s a very easy position to hold and is a view shared by many (most?) Israelis.

@ Mik
Whether he’s riding a fence or walking a tight rope is not the issue. The issue is whether after six months, Netanyahu’s continued scorched earth policy regarding Gaza is producing the desired results of getting the hostages back and either forcing Hamas and Islamic Jihad to lay down their arms or liquidating them altogether. The first priority being the return of the hostages. Neither objective seems to have been achieved plus Gaza now looks like Mariupol and Netanyahu and Likud are losing support for their policies from inside Israel itself.
Edit: Jon said it better than I.
