          Laid-off workers won't be able to collect unemployment benefits.

          So let me get this straight. These 1300 employees aren’t the ones striking, get laid off, and CAN’T get unemployment? How exactly does that work? I thought the only times you can’t get unemployment benefits are if you were let go for pretty serious transgressions, not laid off for cost restructuring.

            They get strike pay. I'm sure layoffs due to strikes are ineligible by law.

              These aren’t striking workers. These are workers at plants that feed parts to the factories that are striking…
