    Ax asked the following:

    1. Will McCarthy be vacated from Speakership?

    2. If so, who do you think will be the next Speaker of the House?

    3. (Whom would like to see as the Speaker of the House of not McCarthy?)

    Jolly responded:

    1. No
    2. N/A
    3. Mickey Mouse

    @Jolly

So you think Mickey has a chance now?

      So, now what?

Will the GOP vote in favor of anyone whom the Democrats propose? Of course not.

Who has enough, for lack of a better word, "juice" in the GOP to win a vote? And if there is such a person, how many times will he have to give Gaetz a blowjob will he compromise to keep the speakership?

It's really interesting to see the reactions from the RWEC.

"Thus, the so-called Freedom Caucus — which didn’t say much when Donald Trump spent like Barack Obama — claimed McCarthy made them promises he didn’t keep and insisted that something must be done. …"

Have to wonder: What is Gaetz's end game here?

More concessions? A run at speakership? Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker?

It reminds me of the dog that finally catches the car: "NOW what am I going to do with it?"

He seems to have wanted that job for a long time.
Now, not only he had the job, he also made history with it.
As the first Speaker of the House to be vacated.
Down the history books he goes.

It seems to me that the Freedom Caucus does not so much want its voice heard and taken into account but rather, insists that its voice and subsequent commands be obeyed without question.

McCarthy, appropriately bitter, commented that he's upset that 4% of his caucus controls who speaks for them.

The funding bill they passed is only good for 45 days, and they are wasting at least one week of it doing nothing. Chances are they will waste even more time dealing with the fallouts rather than negotiating government funding.

If Mickey Mouse gets its, DeSantis is so fucked.

                                        I was only joking

At the very time the GOP needs to be the adult in the room...

As I said earlier, "They never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity."

It reminds of the early days of TNCR, when someone (I don't remember who) said to someone else (I don't remember who), "You never fail to fail."

Did I say that? It sounds familiar but I can’t remember. Hell, it’s been almost 20 years.
