We've an "instant pot blender" that cooks soup as it blends it up. It's kind of ridiculous to have a kitchen gadget for only one thing but holy crap does it do a good job.

We make such soup on a pretty regular basis.

Nah. I have a handheld and an Oster that does fine. Don't need another Instant Pot. We are on a kitchen appliance moratorium. No room at the inn.
