I'm not so sure...I think some of the steam may be gone. But...If it leads to meaningful election reform, let the riots begin.

As George wrote recently, day of, with ID and leave the polling place with a blue thumb. That's the ideal.

I think it will be fine regardless of who wins in 2024. Worst case, some idiots will go to prison again. I do not fear in the least for our democracy.

I hate to agree with Horace, but I agree with Horace. I think there's a lot to be gained by constantly saying we're on the verge of civil war. Normal people aren't interested in that from what I can tell. There's a guy that cycles a bike around where I work with 'FUCK JOE BIDEN' on a flag, but you know, he really doesn't look as though he's washed since Biden got elected, so I think he's got bigger problems.

Who said civil wars? I can see a serious riots, ramped up higher than a few years ago. I can see more serious assassination attempts. I can see the last 8 years but 30-40% worse.
