That's a pretty low bar, tbh.

Retreating from the turmoil in Washington, D.C., Rep. Lauren Boebert arrived in bucolic southwest Colorado to turmoil of a different sort — the lingering impact of an embarrassing moment when she was caught on tape vaping and groping with a date during a musical production of “Beetlejuice.”

The scandal threw a wrench into an already tough reelection bid. After Boebert won her last race by just 546 votes, she began revamping her campaign strategy. It now includes apologies to voters at campaign events for an episode that has rattled even loyal Republicans.

There are things that reveal your character. Apologies cannot change that.

Her character isn't actually that bad when compared to Matt Gaetz and Margorie Taylor Greene.

TBH, this is the first time I've actually felt a little sympathy for her.

            I was only joking

                      Why the headline?

                      Why the story?

He's not even married to her.

Daily Beast and Washington Post must be desperate for stories.

                        Here's something that's a bit more newsworthy.

                        A bit.

An investigation is being conducted into an apparent altercation between U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert and her ex-husband Jayson Boebert at a restaurant, police in Silt, Colorado, confirmed Sunday.

It’s unclear what happened on Saturday, but Boebert’s campaign released a statement Sunday in which she said she “didn’t punch Jayson in the face and no one was arrested. I will be consulting with my lawyer about the false claims he made against me and evaluate all of my legal options.”

Jayson Boebert did not respond to a Facebook message from The Associated Press seeking comment, but told The Denver Post that he called police on Sunday morning to say he didn’t want to press charges.

“I don’t want nothing to happen,” Jayson Boebert said. “Her and I were working through a difficult conversation.”

Kite declined to say whether Jayson Boebert made that call.

“This is a sad situation for all and another reason I’m moving,” Lauren Boebert’s statement said.

She is done. Even though she moves, I do not think she will win her new district.
