      He had an actual shelter-in-place style curfew at one point, didn’t he? I don’t know if any other state went as far as he did.

        This was in another thread. As I said there, leaders can expect no credit for hindsight. It's foresight that counts.

          My point isn’t about whether CA policies were too extreme or not, it’s about whether his admitting it helps or hurts him and others on a national stage. A sincere apology can be a powerful thing when it comes to public image. At the same time, this also provides powerful juice to DeSantis.
