This has been brought up by some folks...Would this have been an Achilles injury if the field would have been natural turf?

Good question. I seem to remember reading something about fake turf being more dangerous.

It's shame he has to go out as a punchline, but he brought it on himself.

I doubt it. Anyway, if they make it to the playoffs they should stick with Wilson. Dance with the one that brung ya.

Depends entirely if they are winning because of Wilson or in spite of Wilson. Monday was ALL about the D.

Still, I like Wilson and think they gave up on him too soon.

Me too. I always felt Rogers was a mistake. Even if he was good, it would only be for a year or two.

This year so far is showing that defense wins games. The Browns D was incredible last week. Neither Higgins nor Chase could get open. Of course, Higgins might have been showing them they maybe can't do without him.

Offenses do not seem to gel until about the third or fourth game.

Yeah, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. You guys always lose week 1, and the Browns have had Burrow’s number since the beginning. Plus, Burrow has never actually had a normal Training Camp. You guys will be fine in 2-3 weeks.

Pittsburgh’s been to an AFC Championship after losing a home opener 51-0, and won a Super Bowl after losing the opener 37-7. Week 1 is weird.

@LuFins-Dad what a world we live in. One in which Keith Olbermann channels the Babylon Bee.
