    What kind of power supply do I need for this kind of receptacle? It's for an external hard drive (dual-bay) enclosure.

    The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

        @Axtremus 🤦

        Yeah, I see that. Can anyone recommend which one, specifically?

        Would this work? Does it produce enough current?

          As long as the connector is correct the amperage is fine.

            Yeah, that's what I thought. However, looking at some of the reviews, the advertised amperage is not what's actually delivered. Other reviews say that these cheaper adapters run hot, very hot.

            I need a power supply for an external drive enclosure, as I said. I went to the original vendor's site and saw that they have compatible power supplies available. OWC is a great seller, and they have great tech support and sales support. The cost differential between what I found on Amazon (the link) and what OWC sells is about $5. Not worth the hassle, so I ordered the real thing.
