When to put away the award plaques?

I received my own block of wood from a previous place of employment. There was this minor presentation thing for the block of wood in which I thanked everybody.
That afternoon I happened to have run over it with my car in the parking lot a couple times, totally by accident.

Where are these displayed? Are they hung all over the place randomly, or in your office? I'd like to be able to visualize what you're talking about.

The personal ones go in the office or by the desk of the associate. The corporate/store go out in the showroom at several strategic points.

You could re-hang them in unexpected places such as the bathroom. A friend of mine had a photo of his dad escorting Prince Charles around a factory hanging up in the downstairs toilet. It means you still get to boast about it, but you do it in an ironic fashion.
