Not at all sure what he's saying, other than pop music gets misused in campaigns.

The GOP candidates attempting to identify common cause with Rich Men North of Richmond was pretty funny.

        I was only joking

Well, he did graduate from Yale. 😄

In this case, I think he's using the term glasnost in its most literal definition, which I think means "openness" . I think his position may be that of Taylor Swift's position in 2016, when she tried to keep her music above the political fray (unsuccessfully, as she was later made to bend the knee to the Entertainment Left).

For the most part, let the music be the music, and as long as the proper royalties are paid, maybe it's better if the shit-stirrers shut up.

Another highlight of the last 10 years - I could never figure out whether DJT's bizarre dancing to gay anthem 'Macho Man' was intended to be ironic. Apparently, the Village People took exception to it.

At least he can dance. The man who (supposedly) won the most votes in American history, can't shuffle off the stage without someone to guide him.

Remember when this was a thing?

                https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/14/us/politics/trump-ramp-water-glass-health.html

President Trump faced new questions about his health on Sunday, after videos emerged of him gingerly walking down a ramp at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and having trouble bringing a glass of water to his mouth during a speech there.

Mr. Trump — who turned 74 on Sunday, the oldest a U.S. president has been in his first term — was recorded hesitantly descending the ramp one step at a time after he delivered an address to graduating cadets at the New York-based academy on Saturday. The academy’s superintendent, Lt. Gen. Darryl A. Williams, walked alongside him. Mr. Trump sped up slightly for the final three steps, as he got to the bottom.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Yep, because the ramp was slick.

Would be nice to have some unbiased news sources.
