David Sedaris told a story about somebody he knew who claimed their dog was a vegetarian.

"Just like you. Gosh, what a coincidence!"

    I was only joking

What about feeding dogs only cooked food, never any raw food?

Hard to imagine other animals naturally developing a diet for "cooked" anything because none of them has developed the skill to start fires in a controlled manner. Still, we don't seem to bat an eyelash if a household pet is fed only cooked meats.

When people catch you in a lie, they tend to discount anything else you have to say on the subject.

This antivax stuff is just ripples...

It seems to me like it's a growing trend just based on everyday conversations.

The point of cooking food is to increase calorie intake effeciency, not to change its dietary makeup.

Agreed. But I think that's because people no longer trust the CDC or Public Health.

It's kinda like the over-hype with hurricanes...Eventually, people discount the warnings...

Granted but I am not going to start sautéing kibble for the household Herr Von Dawghausen.

                Elbows up!

Fair enough. 😄 If you lived in Montgomery County, though, that sort of thing would appear far more normal. Not because it is normal, but because that's how weird they've become.

@Aqua-Letifer 😆 Why did I not raise an eyebrow to that?
