Almost as nuts as people who feed their dogs a vegan diet
David Sedaris told a story about somebody he knew who claimed their dog was a vegetarian.
"Just like you. Gosh, what a coincidence!"

What about feeding dogs only cooked food, never any raw food?
Hard to imagine other animals naturally developing a diet for "cooked" anything because none of them has developed the skill to start fires in a controlled manner. Still, we don't seem to bat an eyelash if a household pet is fed only cooked meats.

When people catch you in a lie, they tend to discount anything else you have to say on the subject.

The point of cooking food is to increase calorie intake effeciency, not to change its dietary makeup.

Agreed. But I think that's because people no longer trust the CDC or Public Health.
It's kinda like the over-hype with hurricanes...Eventually, people discount the warnings...

Granted but I am not going to start sautéing kibble for the household Herr Von Dawghausen.

Fair enough.
If you lived in Montgomery County, though, that sort of thing would appear far more normal. Not because it is normal, but because that's how weird they've become.
