    Hospitals and Medicare Advantage...

      Informative video.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

I had no idea that MA had that much market penetration. The plans do work for some people...If you're in that segment of the population that has too much income for Medicaid assistance to go along with your Medicare, Advantage plans can keep you out of the poorhouse. But you have to read them carefully, because of their HMO-type limitations.

        But if nobody accepts them...

The original government plan works better than the private plans that piggyback on the original government plan?! Who woulda thunk it?

Uh, no it doesn't. Your ignorance is showing. Again.

I have traditional with the supplement and part D. I don't like to jump through hoops or be told where I can go or not. But I pay for those luxuries. I'm not at all surprised that some providers are dumping Advantage.

MA insurers get paid a certain amount per patient or population. There are only two places to squeeze out profit - reducing care and reducing reimbursement.
