Better if you make a homemade tank out of old water heaters. Take peeled pine poles, immerse them in a tank of used motor oil. Build a warming fire under the tank and simmer the pine for a couple of hours, then let them soak for three days. Remove and dry under cover for one week.
You have now made poor man's fenceposts.

While we're on the subject... Hie thee to your nearest oil well and the collection tank. Steal 10-15 gallons of crude oil.
Mix the crude oil with diesel fuel, to where it's thin enough to apply with a deck sprayer. Makes a decent exterior penetrating stain for a board-n-batten barn or house.
