Something is going to have to give before too long, or hospitals will fall like dominoes...Even down here with the activity of COVID, hospitals are hurting.

i don’t want assume what you are talking about, overwhelmed or loss of revenue.
Loss of revenue. The rural hospitals are almost empty and their electives have been canceled. Even in the cities, most hospitals down here aren't anywhere close to 50% of the usual flow.

Its either a government bailout or COVID-only treatment centers.

As I posted in another thread, one of my former partners says that surgical volume is down to 20% of what it used to be.

For "government bailout", I can see the bailout money making up for "loss revenue."
How is "COVID-only treatment centers" going to help counteract "loss revenue"? Volume of surgeries went down because of social distancing measures. I do not quite see how having "COVID-only treatment centers" is going to relax social distancing measures and bring the volume of surgeries back up. What am I missing?

Volume of surgeries have gone down, because all electives have been cancelled.
