I see a change of judge in Trump’s future.
At least I hope so, can’t say I know all the rules and precedent.
@jon-nyc I dont know if you are talking about the judge in the federal case - probably not.
Anyway, the federal judge said a few days ago
"Chutkan in a hearing Friday imposed a protective order in the case limiting what evidence handed over by prosecutors the former president and his legal team can publicly disclose. She warned Trump’s lawyers that his defense should be mounted in the courtroom and “not on the internet.” "So, what does President Trump do?
"....made posts Monday on his social media network calling U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan “highly partisan” and “ VERY BIASED & UNFAIR!” because of her past comments in a separate case overseeing the sentencing of one of the defendants charged in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol."
He is his own worst enemy.

In this case, maybe not. Trump views it as a First Amendment right and what better way to FasTrack this to SCOTUS?

But what about when a judge does a "gag order" on a case, which sometimes happens in criminal cases? I thought it was illegal then to talk about the case.
(I realize my sources of information is from various true crime podcasts......... LOL)
