It has to be said, this President does surround himself with some truly charming individuals.
Who said god damn America and blamed us for 9/11?

The fact that there are other dreadful Americans doesn't actually make Mr. Trump's friends any nicer.

Farrakhan and Jeremiah Wright.

I think Jerry Falwell blamed 9-11 on teh gays, and Pat Robertson blamed it on liberalism and various other things, so there's plenty of stupid to go round here.

Winner. Jeremiah Wright. Obama’s pastor and spiritual advisor. You don’t get much closer. Phibes, don’t play an unwinnable game.

I'm playing 'Find the craziest American', or as it's sometimes known 'Divide by Zero'.

Sorry, you're ignorant. Falwell was referring to God's wrath upon America for disregarding his commandments. It's a common theme throughout the Noble. If you consider America as the New Israel (some do) or as chosen by God, it makes pretty good theological sense.
You may not agree with it, but stupid, it ain't.
-
The reason for the attack on the WTC was Islamic fundamentalism, i.e. religious extremism, not liberalism and homosexuality.
And yes, it was a stupid thing to say. Just because something is believed by some religious people doesn't mean it's not stupid. The people who flew the planes into the towers thought they were doing God's work, too.
-
Ok, maybe stupid was the wrong word. Deranged might be more accurate.
-
@Doctor-Phibes No, stupid is fine if that's where it's at for you. My post above was directed at Jolly.

Maybe 9-11 happened as a punishment for people being so presumptuous as to think that America was the New Israel.
-
Particularly young black men will sometimes call each other "Negro" in conversation. I think it's an in-joke kind of thing. They'll stretch out the E sound. Not being in with that in crowd, I don't really know what they're saying when they do it. It's not a putdown, I don't think.
But I have never heard of a white guy doing it to a black guy.

Sure, why not? I'm sure there's some good theology out there to make nonsense of it.

You cannot tell me you want equality then set up “we can do this but it’s horrible and evil if you do it.”. It makes absolutely no sense and is another example of infantilizing blacks.
