          No conviction. What would be the point? Symbolic, sure. But is that something we really want our government doing, tilting at symbolic windmills?

            Perception is reality in politics.

            Plus, it drives home the storyline that the impeachment was politically fabricated out of lies and distortions. If Trump is the nominee, it helps to point fingers at the liars.
