I've seen some pretty impressive drone displays, but they do not have the spirit or spontaneity of fireworks. Of course, no one gets their hand blown off either. Unless you're in Ukraine.
I wouldn’t mind more drone shows. They can be quite impressive, and I’ve known a few vets that can’t stomach fireworks due to PTSD, so having some communities go this route would be very nice. I hope it spreads but doesn’t replace.
