Of course we have the moral obligation, based upon what happened in the 20th century, to. . . stomp our feet in the West as if that makes any difference whatsoever.

But if anyone asked me what to do, my response would be "beats me." What can be done, to actually make a difference for those hauled into the camps?

I have read quite a bit about the ongoing repression of Kazakh and Uiygur muslims in China in the non US press. There was even PBS Frontline special about it a couple of months back. Pretty well done I thought. Interesting though that all the Kazakhs interviewed spoke only Russian - even to their kids when at the playground. Odd, eh?
