    https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-66081242

    Short version:

Katharine Birbalsingh (a headteacher who happens to be black) posts a number of photos of Tina Turner, including one featuring Ike with the caption 'Good times'

Labour politician chastises her saying 'Domestic abuse is never OK and we will defeat those who prop up the status quo.' An amazingly stupid and over-sensitive response.

Headteacher says 'hold my beer, stupid lady', and accuses politician of being racist.

What the fuck is wrong with people?

    I was only joking

@Doctor-Phibes how much time do you have?

Haven't taken the time to think this through, but it has occurred to me that this sort of twaddle comes from people with too much time on their hands, and not enough to truly worry about. If this woman who responded found a rattlesnake in her bedroom, she wouldn't have time to post about no Tina Turner.

          Inauthentic lives.

            Domestic abuse is never OK

What if you just found out that your spouse is a racist homophobe?

I thought maybe she was so out of touch she thought that was the band that Ike played in.

This kind of over-sensitivity to micro-aggression and immediate victimhood is a product of the megaphone that is the internet, which gives silly people a platform to influence the pudding heads among us.

And we have a lot of pudding heads...

Word on the street among the virtuous, is that the supreme court decision to allow religious people to decline to express themselves in ways that violate their religion, is tantamount to restaurants being allowed to not serve black people. That's the nuance-free cognitive level of the average leftist, captured by the good vs evil narrative of the day. It really does help to be stupid, when trying to fit in with any given prevailing group-think.

                    Education is extremely important.
