Yeah, you Southern boys think anything that stops moving is instantly dinner.
I bet that raccoon was a slave, just got freedom, got halfway across the road -- shocked by headlights, and then. . .
. . . and with his last push, stumbled onto their lawn,

Around here the vultures will have a dead racoon reduced to bones in about a half hour.

Around here, it would be a fight between the buzzards, the crows and the feral hogs.
And they would all lose out to the fire ants...
