Most gay people don't announce their sexuality or go on these parades. Most of them just live a normal life.
It's only a certain subset of gay people who cause these problems. It's unfair to blame the problem on all of them.

They'll tell their friends, like me. But they don't go around and make a fuss about it.

For what it's worth, I know a shitload who are, yes. Maybe a couple who aren't.
