Driving home yesterday, I saw a black guy rolling and bouncing in the median at a nice rate of speed. His bicycle was bouncing and somersaulting behind him.
I slowed down, looking for a way to pull over, when I noticed he was able to get to his feet and stagger to the opposite shoulder. There were already two vehicles pulled over, so I figured he wasn't too bad and the other folks could call the ambulance.
Have no idea what caused his accident, but he was riding on a very busy highway where people routinely exceed the posted 50mph speed limit.
