    Why?

to reduce domestic violence, abuse, and other illegal activity.

    Really?

Gee, I wonder how they vote.

remember when personal freedom and liberty were ideals associated with the left?

I'd have to look at how the questions were constructed. This doesn't seem possible.

It does rather look like an FUD article.

            1. Would you favor or oppose the government installing
surveillance cameras in every household to reduce domestic
violence, abuse, and other illegal activity?

Well, they've devoted the entire article to only talk about the answers to the very last question on the survey. It might be honest and open, young people today and all that. Still, I'd go so far as to say the article isn't exactly just dealing in facts.

The particular fact in question makes your tribe look bad, and so you shrug it off as coming from a biased messenger. I'm sure we all understand how this works by now.

Gen-z are not my tribe. Neither are blacks. Or Hispanics, all of whom disproportionately favour this stupid idea. I'm an ex-pat British guy in his late 50's.

And I think it's a stupid idea. I'm just questioning whether the article isn't being a little alarmist. Which it clearly is.

Hey, Americans say lots of dumb shit. Who knew? There - now I'm making your tribe look bad.

It is "clearly" no such thing. You can quote the alarmist part if you'd like, so we can know what you find so alarmist about it.
