That's waaaay past unprofessional. That's almost looking for a fight.

Agreed. Considering the recent encounters between a Chinese fighter and a US reconnaissance aircraft, it sure looks like they're escalating.

What's the remedy?

At least what's the remedy that won't provoke an international conflict? Condemnation doesn't mean a whole lot when the Chinese respond with a middle finger salute.

Well, first we have to find out if the Chinese captain is/was transgendered and other really important stuff like his pronouns, before formulating a response.

Seriously, besides firing on them, maintain course and speed. What happens, happens.
