Compressed air

Looking around in my desk, I found that I was out of compressed air - useful for general cleaning (esp the cat litter robot).
I was about to order some from Amazon, but I see that there are rechargeable devices out there. Has anyone had any experience with these? Are they comparable to the old-school cans?

Bendy straw, or rubber tube and maybe also a funnel ... and just blow.
