    Much of the show's action takes place in Jerry's apartment located in New York City at 129 West 81st Street, apartment 5A (3A in seasons 1 and 2). He and his friends also frequently have coffee or meals together at Monk's Café.

      Eh, upper west side. Did not know that. From the map it looks like he's in Harlem.

        I thought so too, but I checked Google maps and the northern tip of Roosevelt island is roughly across from 86th st.

              Cosby is from Philadelphia, but the show is in NYC.
