In any segment of society, a small percentage of people are jerks. With the latest BLM crap, you hear more stories of black people being jerks towards white people.
Some friends of mine went to Wal-Mart to buy a battery last Friday. The automotive shop is not open, so the register in that section of the store is closed. The shopping section is open.
The battery selector in the store was not working, so they asked a young black man working in the auto section for help. His response?
Get your own damn battery.
After the wife managed to get the husband cooled down from the point of physical confrontation, they complained to the manager of the store, who basically told them that in the current climate, it is almost impossible to discipline a black employee. They sent an email to corporate when they got home, but have not received any reply.
This is an example of a minor, but becoming more familiar interaction. It's not to the same point yet, but I remember some of this same stuff from 1968. It took assassinations and the biggest riot in U.S. history, until things cooled down.
I hope we aren't headed to 1968 again...
