Gotta wonder what they're thinking.

Things I've read indicate that the device has had a troubled development, and several top-tier execs are distancing themselves from it.

It's clunky (you need an external power supply to run it).

Rumored to be VERY expensive ($1500 and up???)

Strikes me as being a solution to a non-existent problem.

I’m still waiting for stats on injuries suffered while wearing virtual reality headsets. Tried one a couple years ago. It was cool, but they have a ways to go yet.

VR is a bit of fun, not a $1500 outlay for something that will rapidly become obsolete.
