I have affectionately dubbed that train the Hearing Loss Express. The first deafening noise was the steam release, which I have great compassion for. The little engine that could, needs to do what it needs to do. But then the whistle matches and even exceeds those decibels. That’s just human choice. Shame. My iWatch alerted me twice that the noise levels were dangerous. But not to worry, I protected my ears with some high tech hand shielding.

    It was pretty though.

Cool stuff. Mrs. George and I have taken a couple of scenic rail trips. We've taken the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad twice. One of the locomotives was used in the movie "Stand By Me."

There's another nice one about a mile west of Denver that takes you up to an old silver mine.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.
