“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

What’s ironic is that the descendants of the Africans sold into slavery are much better off on average than the descendants of the Africans who weren’t.

      Only non-witches get due process.

By certain economic measures that’s true. But I wonder about relative status as compared to one’s culture. That’s more to the point if considering life satisfaction, I suppose.

I always look sideways at notions that certain countries have people who live on 5 cents a day etc. it’s a near meaningless comparison.

        Education is extremely important.

Some economists have estimated the value of 40 acres and a mule for those 40,000 freed slaves to be worth a staggering $640 billion today.

          They shouldn't have sold.
