Then some lovely social worker will get punched in the face, or worse, and they’ll start sending cops along with the social workers.

Wait until one of the social workers stares down the barrel of a 9.

Domestic stuff tends to go to hell very quickly.

          Look at the case categories.

Disorderly intoxication? Send a social worker? What could go wrong.

@Jolly Just today a story about two cops getting killed in a domestic disturbance -- can't remember where, I think Texas?

It's long been a truism in police work that domestics are among the most dangerous calls for them.

It'll be a fascinating case study in the MSM covering a story with a pillow, if a social worker ends up getting killed.

Who makes the call whether a situation is or is not violent? How in hell are they qualified to make that call?

Folks, in small rural hospitals you have no security and what police there is, is usually ten minutes away at best. The world can go upside down in the minutes.

                    Disorderly drunk or high?

I had a nurse screaming for me one night, after a dude knocked two nurses down and threw the doctor into a metal and glass cabinet. I came through the door and hit that peckerhead hard enough I should have broke his head. I did knock him ass over teakettle back into a gurney and then jumped on top of him, pinning him like a hog with my knees. SOB still tried to hit my balls off.

Social worker?😄 <SPIT!>. I wanna see that one...

My mom was a social worker for three decades. When things were bad enough that you had to remove someone from a home right damn now, they called my mom and an officer.

Even with a police escort, she had a ton of experiences bad enough that they made things interesting for me at home.

I don't think I have to ask her how good of an idea she thinks this is.

                      Please love yourself.
