I’m outside getting the firepit going when I just saw a line of fire across the sky. I’m not talking about a shooting star with a 1” relative line like I have seen by countless meteors in the past, but a single point that started in the sky then headed East wolith an increasingly bright contrail. The original point stayed the same, with the line going east. I yelled for Lucas to come and see it but in the 15 seconds it took for him to come outside it disappeared….

        Space junk?

I could see a 1/2 inch flume following a piece of debris entering the atmosphere, but the end point would not have stayed in the exact same spot and the line would have never have gotten that long…

I don’t know what it was.

              Education is extremely important.
