Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

For all her press she has not covered herself in glory as a Senator.

I think Charlie is what Donald would call a RINO.

Personally, I thought he did a great job as governor. He was very approachable, and happy to work with the opposition. I suspect he doesn't want to continue to be a politician.

        I was only joking

@Doctor-Phibes said in Run Baker, run!:

I suspect he doesn't want to continue to be a politician.

          Hasn't he explicitly said that?

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

That's precisely why I suspect it.

He just was hired as the president of the NCAA for ~3MM a year.

Would you leave that to be the junior senator from Massachusets?

Play your cards right and you'll make that in the Senate. Sadly.

Plus he was an executive. They always get frustrated by the Senate. At NCAA he’s in charge.

                    True, but aren't Presidents executives?

You mean like he might want to be President some day?

I don’t think he could be a national figure in today’s GOP.
