I can’t get over the contradiction that most people who don’t wear masks are not Trump supporters.
It’s so disingenuous to have the Trump supporters as the poster child.

I don’t know where you’re getting that. Maybe young people don’t wear masks?
Seems there’s a difference between those who couldn’t be bothered and those who think wearing a mask is giving in to some deep state/Bill Gates conspiracy. The former aren’t likely to die on the hill when masks are mandated.

You know what would be great, if we're going to argue about the political affiliations of people who don't wear masks? Good data about the political affiliations of people who don't wear masks.

If their blanket aversion to wearing them is categorically stupid, what difference does it make what political affiliation they hold?

You missed the qualifier "if we're going to argue about it".
But then again whether we argue about it or not, the meme of the MAGA hat guy with the mask over his eyes on the plane really seemed to speak to people so I think the data might matter whether we argue about it or not. But for the record we're arguing about it.

Really? We're asked to politicize mask wearing now? The Democrats are better than the Republicans in mask wearing?
Explain to me how this information is supposed to contribute to ridding the world of coronavirus.
Has anyone notified Mr. COVID of this?

Interesting that they used the word "say" in the headline, as opposed to "Democrats are more likely to wear masks...". Are they saying democrats use masks for virtue-signaling?

It's actually good that democrats are wearing masks more than the others. Female democrats especially, because they are butt ugly.

It still sounds as if there were a discrepancy between "saying" that you wear a mask and actually wearing a mask. Which might be true.

Pew Research:
Is that saying that County’s where they wear masks less often have a lower covid health impact? Masks cause covid.

Take a good look at the demographics and voter registration in Harris County for example. You think the hospitals are swamped with Republicans?

More republicans live where Covid outbreaks are low. Duh.
