I’m too cheap to go over and watch them.
And old men get tired running around in the sun all day.
Lufin is probably over there.

Sheraton Vistana Resort
No Disney parks this trip either. The crowds at Disney Springs on Sunday were outrageous.
This was primarily a Marco Island golf trip, visiting family.

Nice. Saturday at Universal was a nightmare, but Sunday the crowds were a little lower…
We have a nice routine, though. Parks in the morning, come back to Portofino for lunch on the piazza, then an hour or so at the pool, then back to the parks. It’s amazing how much that hour at the pool helps.

It’s a nice resort. Amenities comparable to Disney’s premier resorts but priced much lower.
We have Dakota, so they put us in a ground floor Harbor View, which gives us the benefit of our own outdoor space and entry…
We’re 100 feet away from the coffee/gelato shop and 200 from the restaurants. The restaurants are decent, but the pizza shop is great. They have members of a local opera company come and sing in the evening on the balcony in the second picture.
Frankly, though, the best part of the service is the text/concierge. We needed a reservation for the steak place, texted the concierge and it was done. Need to change it? Text and it’s changed. Since we have the dog, we’ve been scheduling our room cleaning. The text has been very helpful for that.
The room is huge, to.

Yes, the last stop before the Everglades National Park.

I could tell by the lack of sargassum. It is bad on the Atlantic side….
